@ThisNoisyLemurnot sure on my cycle day as came off the pill last week. Wasn't expecting to get a positive ovulation test so quick. Just tested again and it seems to be getting slowly lighter.

Ooo what day did you come off the pill? If it’s been less than two weeks maybe you are ovulating around now. I think OPK tests can be positive for around 3 days at peak fertility- great sign so soon after coming off the pill! Best of luck for baby making!

Hi all regular reader but not poster but thought I’d join in for this one. On cycle 7 TTC first baby, hoping this is the month! Can get quite disheartening after a few cycles when you hear stories from people you know only taking a cycle or 2. Hopefully July is a successful month for us all 🩷

I took my last one on Thursday. I'm hoping so. Would be nice if it happens so quickly. Thank you

Jigglemonster · 07/07/2026 11:20

So turns out my squinter was an indent, I had BFNs on FRER and many others...... (I need to stop peeing on sticks)!

Just waiting for AF, but hoping it isn't too long, last cycle was 45 days whereas it's normally 29, keen to just start again . I have clomid prescribed going forward so hoping that helps and next month is the month!

Best of luck to everyone still in their TWW

Pineapplechew · 07/07/2026 15:12

@Jigglemonster how many dpo are you? You might not be out yet?

I’m 7dpo tomorrow and i know im going to torture myself by doing a test way too early. I promised myself I wasn’t going to do it till Friday but I know I will.

DancingThroughLife02 · 07/07/2026 15:50

Hi all, just moving over from the May/June thread.

Just started my period so back to CD1 for me, managed to avoid the obsessive testing last time around but still a little bit disappointed. I know it can take time and technically we’ve only been trying for 3 months but not sure what we’re doing wrong. Right kind of lubrication and timing and everything, guess I’ve just got to keep hoping.

Baby dust to everyone, looking forward to seeing some positives on here!

Jigglemonster · 07/07/2026 19:02

I'm somewhere between 9dpo and 10dpo @Pineapplechew according to the LH strips. I haven't been temping but I think I'll start now. Do you know based on both LH and temp?

It's so tempting to test isn't it? Then just so disappointing if its negative.

@DancingThroughLife02 I know what you mean. It's very consuming, each month drags so even if its not a long period of time in the grand scheme of things the lack of control and uncertainty is the killer

MixedBananas · 07/07/2026 21:58

Hey ladies. I am on and off the group for the last 13 months. I have had 4 miscarriages in that time. Just watching the thread.
Hope all are doing well

Squashies123 · Yesterday 06:32

Hey all, I’ve been lurking on this thread so I thought I’d join in. I’m 9DPO cycle #3 after an ectopic, cycle #6 overall trying for our first.

I’ve had a lot of breast tenderness, light cramping and fatigue so I’ve really got my hopes up this cycle! As I don’t think my PMS symptoms usually start this early. I stupidly caved and tested this morning and it was stark white BFN which I know doesn’t mean I’m out, but I’ve now convinced myself I am! I’m trying to hold off on testing for 2 days now but even that feels like forever away

Pineapplechew · Yesterday 07:56

I tested 7dpo. It was negative (surprise) convinced myself I’m out
I’m trying to talk myself down because obviouslyyy it’s negative and I’ve been pregnant twice before and never got a positive on 7dpo.
the other times I’ve been pregnant I’ve known I was before I tested positive, and right now I don’t ‘feel’ pregnant and that’s throwing me off too. I’m just entering the crazy phase of the tww I think.

lm1986 · Yesterday 07:57

Starting the tww although I know ill be testing early! This is the worst part now!

Mortima · Yesterday 08:17

Hi, can I tentatively join the thread - just started TTC #2, and (I think) 2DPO. Exciting but also terrifying.

It's been a while since I was last TTC, so I have that mad feeling that I must be pregnant as I had unprotected sex at the right time 😂even though it took a good few months to conceive our first.

StillWingingIt97 · Yesterday 10:59

I'm 11 dpo today and still testing negative - AF due tomorrow or Friday and I know I am not out until then but cant help being in a negative headspace

inkgirl · Yesterday 12:15

Came off the pill a week ago, got positive ovulation tests Sunday Monday and tuesday. So not completely sure when I ovulated. They are now negative going to try and hold off another week before testing

DarkRock1995 · Yesterday 13:16

Hey im ttc my 4th i know i ovulated yesterday think it happened in the early morning as i had 48hours of right sided cramps before that morning where i had a sharp one on the right side that only lasted for a minute ish and had the ewcm over the 48hours and morning of sharp pain, but now today no more ewcm, but alot of white discharge 1dpo i plan to test on the 17th hoping it ends up positive.

wfcats · Yesterday 16:52

Is anyone else due to ovulate this week and struggling with this heat? All my OPKs are negative because I'm drinking so much water and I don't want to be anywhere near another human!

HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy · 06/07/2026 19:11

So glad to hear you are feeling better! That is excellent news! Have your cycles settled down? I remember they were a bit all over the place in terms of length?

Running sounds good! I need to do more exercise really. Just trying to find the energy at the end of the day when I just want to curl up in bed! But, you are right, I’m sure exercise contributes to general health and so a healthy cycle.

Maybe I should try getting DH on something too. He is so rubbish at remembering though 😂

I haven’t gone to the GP. Just feel it’s unlikely to do anything as I already have children and so they won’t help! But, as shown on a thread linked above, I might be being unduly pessimistic. It probably depends a bit on health board too and can’t find a lot of whether ovulation induction is offered or not by mine. But I think I will get an appointment booked ( though they probably won’t be able to see me for a month knowing my GP!)

First pregnancy was 7 months, 3 cycles. Second pregnancy was 2 weeks after getting the coil out! So this is my longest TTC attempt.

No I actually think they’d settled the month I got really poorly as I ovulated CD14 and my period came 14dpo! But then last month I ovulated CD18 but only had 10 day LP?! I am putting it down to the illness though!!

I know the feeling on just wanting to get into bed! My DD has slept so badly the last 4 days I’m so exhausted so don’t think I’ll be running for a few days!!

it could be your DH if you concieved the last 2 pregnancies fairly quickly in terms of number of cycles so definitely worth nagging him! I’ve got mine on a multi vit and coQ10

We’ll get there!! I’d definitely going to your GP as I think you’ll get help to ovulate, my understanding was IVF is hit and miss depending on area. My DH and I have decided to lock in for 3 months to try get really good quality before we go gp/private

DaisyDreaming92 · Today 14:19

CD11 and I’m 90% confident I ovulated last night. I think my cycle might be a bit messed up. 1st cycle after my ectopic. I’ve not had a loss before so not sure if it’s normal for the 1st cycle to be a bit off/a dud. Guess we’ll find out in 2 weeks 😭

ThisNoisyLemur · 06/07/2026 22:37

aww it feels like forever doesn’t it, although I know people try for much longer too!

Oo good luck :) I just bought some more OPKs this month too, used them a few months ago and it seemed like we were getting our timings right with EWCM so stopped using them, but going to try again this month.

Im CD 9 so going to do my OPK in the morning and get down to it the next few days!

what cycle day are you?

:)

It does! I got pregnant on cycle 3 but sadly it was a chemical. I thought it would happen quickly again but it just hasn't. I keep thinking I should be 7 months pregnant now, not 0 months. It's so hard to plan when you don't know how long it will take. I'm thinking of changing jobs but I don't know if I should take a permanent or temporary contract as I don't know where I'll be this time next year. Temporary contracts pay better but then I risk looking for a job a few months pregnant and then being unemployable. I also risk not being pregnant at all and losing out on pay for nothing. If someone had a crystal ball it would make my life much easier haha.

I'm on cycle day 4, will probably start OPKs again next week. I take breaks dependong on how stressed it's making me feel. Good luck to us both for this cycle, fingers crossed it's the one!!
