I’m breastfeeding once in the day for nap, to get DD to sleep and then at wake ups in the night. So maybe 5 times in 24 hours? I don’t think it’s the reason im struggling with conceiving though, as I conceived my second very quickly when breastfeeding my first much more than this! Think you are right, simplest just not to mention it!
Not currently trying to shift baby weight as I had heard that too. My BMI is 24 so top end of healthy so hoping that isnt having too much of an effect. Have seen people recommend a reduced sugar diet for people with PCOS when TTC so I might try that next? Not with the of losing weight, just to reducing the effect of sugar on my body? Don’t know how likely this is to help though.
My cycle is all over the place due to PCOS. Since starting TTC I’ve had 2 super long cycles, 65 days and this current one of 77 days. Also had some much shorter cycles, more 35-45 days which is more normal for me, though I think some of those have been anovulatory as I haven’t found a peak of the LH tests.
I was thinking of going to the GP with the idea of requesting a referral to the fertility clinic and then getting Clomid/ Letrozole to help trigger ovulation. But given I have two children I not sure I’d qualify on the NHS? I’m a bit confused about it. I know they don’t offer IVF obviously but the website was unclear about Clomid/ Letrozole or if I’d need to go private?
Is anyone on here getting clomid/ Letrozole on the NHS? Or is the only option to go privately?
