TTC on Clomid anyone?

We have started Clomid this month due to secondary infertility. I've had all the side effects (hot flushes, anxiety, cramps, bloating, fatigue) and am happy to finally be on 1dpo!

I'm putting a lot of hope into this cycle so I'm nervous I'm going to be very left down if/when AF arrives in a couple of weeks. :/

Anyone else in a similar boat?

Just to add, we did have an NHS appointment prior to this and they did bloods (not AMH, i did this privately with Superdrug) and a sperm analysis.

I think they did general and thyroid bloods as well as LH, progesterone and FSH. And also a vaginal swab I think, for Chlamydia.

We were then impatient and when results were ok, went ahead with the private appointment as they could see us that same week. They used the NHS blood and sperm results, so we saved money there.

Thank you for your responses they are so helpful :)

Ive had some bloods done at GP (LH, FSH, Oestrogen, Prolactin, mid luteal progesterone). Then a referral to our local fertility centre, but it’s been 4m and no sign of an appointment yet. Bloods were all ok. I was just looking at the Superdrug AMH today! But I wondered if we’d get it done at the fertility clinic, but maybe not based on your experience!

I’ve also been wondering about the private option, especially after our initial consultation. Especially as I don’t think we’d be entitled to much treatment options on the NHS for secondary infertility would we? Or have I got that wrong?

Hope you get some good news! How old is your other child? :)

Yes, this was our thoughts exactly!

I have a 6yo and almost 3yo (and am so lucky in this respect) but would love one more.

I couldn't believe how easy the private app was and I thought the pirce was really reasonable.

Hi ladies, how’s everyone getting on? I am currently 2dpo after trigger shot on cd12. Still too early for any signs but trying to stay super positive! X

I'm currently 4dpo from my second letrozole cycle! Anyone else in the early TWW with me? What are you doing to keep yourself sane?

Roro27 · Yesterday 12:05

I’m only 1 day behind and also on my 2nd round of letrozole. What were your results from the letrozole this month and what dose did you take? I hate this stage as it’s too early for any symptoms or signs so you just have to keep yourself busy. Working from home which isn’t helping! How are you feeling? X
