This would be a perfect opportunity for Dame Katie Denise to go on helping these poor transwomen.

I know Dame Katie provides them with chairs because they're always sprawling on the floor, so now she could provide them with arms. Nice toned plastic ones, with manly hands at the end to handle all the, er, manly things.

But if he has turned into two people surely he is liable to pay double the tax?

Why have they recently adopted the Doll moniker to describe TIM is what I dont get. Dolls have no genitals and are plastic copies of baby girls. They have smooth plastic genital areas. This doesnt seem to align with what men trying to persuade people they have become women are trying to portray. Why isnt it 'Protect the Trans Women'?

And what about Trans Men, are they also Dolls?

Not sure why a man pretending to be a woman and trying to get everyone to agree they are actually women, with no malign intent or interests, benefits from association with a sexless copy of a baby girl.

Seriously though the two things are deliberately being linked. It's trying to make transgenderism into a left/right issue.

Trying to shore up the discourse that if you are GC you must be right wing economically. And at the same time trying to get GC feminists to argue about the second phrase - which there are already signs of on this thread.

Whether or not you're in favour of richer people paying more tax than they currently do is NEITHER HERE NOR THERE with respect to the questions of gender identity and male violence.

Yes he's putting something transgressive alongside something that many might agree with. It is strange. His lack of care over how he presents is awful.

It calls to their dual favourite subjects, calling themselves girls and dolls, and getting a little frisson of excitement from that, and being violent, from which they probably get a larger frisson.

It's win-win.

What I'll never understand is how a perfectly rectangular six foot brick is totally blind to the ridicule.

Alison Howlett stole spouses guns and car and was planning to kill people. Not that it is relevant to the crime at all, but the further twist is this story is about two male people as the spouse is described as being the ‘wife’ but is male too. It was asked of and confirmed by the Nevada police because the news coverage became so confusing as to the sex of the people being discussed.

Edited to add, that the guns that the person named Alison Howlett belonged the the spouse, also male, named Julie Howlett who has a gun shop.

I think you're right, napody - 'tax the rich' associates* *gender ideology with all that is edgy and leftie and de rigueur and the right side of history and all that.

The call to arms is trying to associate trans activism with struggles throughout history where oppressed people have taken up arms to defend their freedom.
This can be justifiable, after other means haven't worked, or when the oppression is blatantly carried out by military means.

But the trans movement has skipped straight from 'These are our demands' to threats of, and in some cases actual physical aggression and violence, they didn't bother with the years, centuries even, of peaceful protest, civil disobedience, parliamentary debate etc etc. before some of them justified armed 'resistance' to transphobia.

Which, as well all know, means anything we say and anything we do.

Yep and it's all freedom to (go and do whatever we want).
No attention paid to freedom from (male violence).

It reminds me of the Margaret Atwood quote:

I also should have acknowledged that this kind of armed TRA extremism is a minority, esp in the UK; but TRAs on this side of the Atlantic should be aware that phrases like 'Arm the Dolls' have murderous real-world meanings.

Re the two slogans not being linked. I think it's a form of force teaming again. There's a lot of people who would agree with tax the rich and by tagging it on to the Dolls bullshit they believe they are winning support.
