Haven't seen a thread about this anywhere else, but Jennifer Melle, the nurse who refused to refer to a convicted sex offender by his preferred pronouns, and was disciplined, has won a settlement from the NHS trust she works for.

The same people, no doubt, who will in any other circumstances yammer on about George Floyd or taking the knee or how terrible it was that a black actress didn't win an Oscar. It's almost as if the thing they care about is not the real human beings who are hurt by racism, but telling everybody how virtuous they are.
