Count Binface has a genuine chance against Nigel Farage!

Sounds crazy but…

None of the major parties are competing…

Farage won Clacton with 46% of the vote…

If the 54% united together to vote for Binface, we could have the most preposterous election outcome of all time!

I reckon this could get some genuine momentum… all the other parties would LOVE this result, and even if they didn’t actively campaign for it, would surely quietly be gunning for Binface to win.

Hasn’t the actor said that if he ever actually won he’d move to the area and do his best as their MP!?

Given that the bar is under the floor he may well be an improvement!

Limeandfigs · Yesterday 08:17

It would be funny, but sadly I don't think it's realistic despite how much I'd like to see it.

Happy to eat my words if it does happen...

youplonkerrodney · Yesterday 08:19

This would be marvellous, and I bet he would be a good MP too. I can already imagine a film being made about it 😂

Even if he comes a decent second place it will redirect some media attention!

Melarus · Yesterday 08:20

At last, the Count's moment has come! If I lived in Clacton I'd vote for him

LauraNorda · Yesterday 08:23

Is a joke MP really what the country needs right now?

Twoshoesnewshoes · Yesterday 08:24

Omg that would be amazing
I still have a very fond memory of count binface dabbing next to a newly elected teresa May.
made me proud to be British and that is rare indeed

You’re correct, hopefully Count Binface wins.

HandPulledNoodles · Yesterday 08:25

Well Count Binface is credibly more anti-establishment than Farage....

sittingonabeach · Yesterday 08:25

@LauraNorda that’s what Clacton have at the moment. Farage doesn’t do anything for their constituency

We already have one in Farage.

After seeing how he dealt with interviews recently when he stood in Makerfield I think he would be excellent, he clearly is a higher intelligence!

HereForaQuieterLife · Yesterday 08:27

I’m just excited for the campaign song and video 😂

I live in Clacton and it's an incredibly sad state of affairs I have to either vote for a racist misogynistic lying prick or a joke candidate. My town is falling apart, anti social behaviour is high, unemployment is through the roof, health and life expectancy is falling. Trying to sell and move but houses aren't selling. Reform can F.O.

No but tell that to the rest of them. Plenty of joke politicians out there claiming to be serious and taking the absolute piss out of the electorate. That's what Count Binface is all about. I've read a few interviews with him, he comes across perfectly well and I think he'd do as a good a job as anyone.

Why not, they let in Lee Anderson.

Better than a crook.

under the silly costume he’s a real person who has said if he won he’d actually show up and do his best for his constituents which is more than Farage has

Firebox64 · Yesterday 08:35

Isn't that pretty much what happened with Zelensky? "Events, dear boy, events."

Not picking on you specifically but what does this Count Binface stand for? What are his policies?

Lentilcakes · Yesterday 08:36

I’d love to see this. Attending parliament in his bin garb!

You mean Farage?

Shesafancyflapjack · Yesterday 08:38

I feel for the people of Clacton, like the person above. For us it’s a joke but this shit show is their lived experience. Clacton is a great seaside town with huge potential, Farage is a self serving nasty coward who has treated his constituents with contempt. They deserve better than a man with a plastic bin on his head who says he’s an alien.

Danhausenrocks · Yesterday 08:39

He has a confirmed 50% chance of winning.

the fact that he’s always said if he was ever elected he would take the role seriously and do the job should be a good thing.

Clacton deserves better than its current state - every town deserves an MP who will actively lift up their area and work hard and actually show up. .

Totally agree, that’s exactly why we need Binface in power!

ByGraptharsHammer · Yesterday 08:41

I too think Clacton is getting the pointy end of the stick. What is being done for them?
