I'm not royalist. Andrew is an absolute repherensible human being, his association and behaviour with Epstein goes beyond any words I have and the way his mother covered up for him and enabled him was appalling.
However this doesn't behaviour doesn't give Harry a free pass to behave as he likes. It doesn't mean he's above criticism, traumatic childhood or not. It doesn't mean he can sit and tarnish and slander his family and then expect very same family to bend over backwards for him. And being "family" doesn't mean you need to accept toxic behaviour just because you share the same DNA. I don't know Charles personally but Im pretty sure he loves his son. That doesn't mean though he can't put in boundaries in place.
It's all very well people saying what they would do as a parent. And I don't doubt Harry had reasons for wanting to air his grievances at first. And things might, I repeat MIGHT have been salvageable and ok had he done the Oprah interview and left it at that. But no. He did a six part Netflix series, wrote a book and did multiple interviews to which he monetised and used to fund his lifestyle. You'd need to be made of Teflon to just ignore all that and welcome your relative back with open arms after that. I really fail to see why the onus is on his family to be making amends. No sane person would trust someone after that.
The way people infantalise is disturbing. He's not the 13 year old boy who walked behind his mums coffin anymore. He's an almost 42 year old father of two and it's still clear he takes absolutely no responsibility or accepts consequences for his actions. He's got a family to support and has now gambled their money on a ludicrous court case he has now lost. He complained his father, an unelected head of state refused to interfere in security issues that were run by a Government body. Despite his security arrangements being agreed, he took it upon himself to write to the Home Secretary demanding a review of this thinking they had nothing better to do despite losing his court case on this. And recently he thinks rotas and staff at Buckingham palace should just be changed at no notice, with no respect for anyone working there because he couldn't make up what he wanted to do.
He's repeatedly shown he thinks he's above the law. This was even shown in his recent court case with his statement and how he acted as a witness in court, completely unwilling or failed to see why he would be challenged. I can't see why anyone rushes to defend him.
