Which song do you turn up?

Inspired by a recent debate on 2 threads about the 'worst place to live in the UK' which was countered by an alternative 'best place to live in England', there was a thread titled 'what song do you turn off?'

So, I'd like to ask, which song do you turn UP (if you can)? A song that you could play anytime you feel like it, but if it comes on the radio in the car or you hear it out somewhere, gives you chills or puts a smile on your face?

My first one is 29 Palms by Robert Plant. It's such a 'radio song' and I LOVE radio. Some of aul Percy's earlier solo stuff was pure guff but, for me, this song has aged so so well. It's gorgeous, and it transports me back to young teenhood in the early 90s.

I don’t like Mondays, Boom town rats. Full volume on radio and full volume from me.

I bloody love a full volume sing! I’ve got a dreadful singing voice, but at least in the car… no one can hear you scream!😄

12 to 12 by Sombr
We Built this City by Starship

Both of those are on the radio a lot.

Boys of Summer by Don Mclean like others have mentioned.
Breakthru by Queen

Two great choices 👍
For a modern day choice I will add “Choosing Texas” Ella Langley.

My Turn up and sing along ( only on my own ) songs are :
Echo Beach, Martha and the Muffins
Used to particularly love it if it came on when I was travelling to from work (and better of course on the way home ).I'm fortunate enough to live in an area where you get to see the sea on nearly every local trip.

Also, A New England - preferably the Kirsty McColl version

And, God only Knows , Beach Boys- probably most romantic song ever ..

Even better if it's the version with the Simion/Maurice LaMarche intro.
'What was my problem with man, you ask? No! I ask YOU! What was man's problem with me'?

I love so much music. Many songs here are in my list!

I've tried add some other faves for turn up the volume....

Rock the Casbah - The Clash
Sharp Dressed Man - ZZ Top
White Wedding - Billy Idol
Turn it on - Genesis
Turn to Stone - ELO
Stop Me - The Smiths
The Safety Dance - Men without hats ( love this 😆)
All Fleetwood Mac!
Love Michael' McDonald - I think he sings on Ride Like the Wind ( another brilliant turn up song).

Sweet Harmony and The Sun Rising by The Beloved , are turn up, up, up tunes when driving in the summer evenings 😎

Luckily I wear headphones most the time when around people/ in the house 🎧 😀

'Such a long way to go' love Michael McD too, & Ride Like the Wind is awesome.
Yes yes to The Beloved
