Ideas/recommendations for free days in London?

I have a few trips to London/the south east planned in the next few months and I have added on extra days for some free time - but now I’m overwhelmed with options!

I will have a Sunday in August, a Thursday and Friday in September and a Thursday and Friday morning in November. I haven’t booked hotels yet.

I like the usual shopping, mooching, sight seeing, museums, coffees, eating! I’ve spent a lot of time in London so done all the major sights but am not opposed to going again. Would be great if I could book some fun workout classes too, I used to loveee 1Rebel and Psycle.

I’d love some inspiration or recommendations! Thank you in advance.

We're there just now. Just been to the Royal Mail museum and underground railway. Very interesting and you get to go in a mini train.

There’s an Escher exhibition at Somerset House until September.

On a Sunday in August, I’d go to Kew Gardens. You can get there fairly quickly from the centre of London by public transport. There’s so much to see and it’s just really restful.

Is it free?

If the weather is good then I’d do this walk. I live in London and did it with a friend recently. Lovely!
