Which one? The first sounds correct, but now I've said them to my self so many times, I sound...well... firstly like the queen and secondly a right nana.......Please do give the poor dyslexic girl help..

Lol...i just noticed that last post MsHighwater - i do that too! Dh even gets me to correct his (dyslexic - wants spellchecker, so muggins does it) texts and i do the same to his.

The way I always think about it is that the sentence should still make sense if you take John out of it.

FWIW I agree with PennyBenjamin on taking John out of the sentence to see if I or me then makes sense, and I seem to agree with Ms Highwater on everything including texting with correct spelling and grammar!

Oh god, I HAVE to text properly, with punctuation and everything. It drives me mad when I get texts with 2 instead of to, etc.

Mind you, I'm the type of person who goes around correcting notices and signs. Although I'm not as bad as the father of a friend of mine who would send back thank you letters marked up with a red pen!
