Roast my kids’ character. Brutal feedback wanted

Hi,

I’ve created a curious creature called Rilo who ends up in London, and I've hit the stage where feedback from friends and family is useless. Everyone says it's great. I don't need great, I need proper feedback, and I'm told this is the place for honestly.

The preview is at www.itsrilo.com. Password: wobble

Simply navigate your way around and leave and feedback you can to help us with our next steps.

"My four-year-old lost interest in ten seconds" is worth way more to me than a hundred compliments so please fire away.

Well I had a look around and I can’t find how to get to the London story. Too many links taking people away from what you want them to go to, and it’s really unclear how to get to the thing. Your main CTA seems to be trying to take users to an about you page?! Not user friendly at all.

I read the wobbled the moon story.

Very very basic with nothing particularly endearing about it, no interesting language or plot or humour.

Plus the physics was wrong, you can't reach the moon on a ladder.

Assuming it is aimed at a similar age to the Kipper books, or Julia Donaldson it misses the mark massively.

(sorry)

I found the moon story. t’s quite flat - in the visuals and the content of the story. Nothing that really draws me in.

It’s very confusing. Why is the first thing meet the makers? That ought to be later, after people have read the stories. The character reminds me a bit of one from In The Night Garden, you’ll want to make sure you can’t be accused of infringement. I’m not sure if this is meant to be all online - I’d prefer paper books for stories for young children - but could be handy for out and about. Look at whether this meets accessibility standards too.
