So which facemask and how do I wear it?

Just heard we will have to wear masks on public transport from mid June.

Anyone know:

  • What type of mask is best (eg cotton, other fabric, number of layers etc)
  • How to ensure it fits?
  • How to safely put on, wear and remove?
  • Should I wear a different one to and from work or is the same one ok?

Or anything else I should know.

I picked up a pack of 2 reusable washable ones from Asda for £2.50 this week

Debenhams ones are great. Bit pricey but they have a pocket for an additional filter for extra security.

I also bought these for myself:

www.thereformation.com/products/5-masks

Washable. Arrived in the US from 3-4 days. Cheaper but with no filter.

@GinNotGym19 What department in Asda did you find them, with Dd going back to school on the school bus end of the month she'll need washable ones for travel.

Seasalt sell handybands which are multi purpose hair bands, scarves or face coverings. Not a mask, but so really comfy and available in different patterned fabric. Love them!

I bought a few from Pretty Little Thing. They are a bit flimsy but will do for now. They are a fiver and the profits go to the NHS. Lots of styles and colours too!

They was in the entrance in their own stand. They did have loads @Troels in packs of 2, I wouldn’t be able to wear the ones on eBay let alone expect my dd to but the Asda ones are really good
