I’m 5dp5dt, I stupidly took a test last night at 4dp5dt and felt like I could see a little something. I see a similar line on my FRER this morning. Can you see anything or am I going crazy? Should I expect to see more by this point? Worried this is an indent 😭

I had a very faint positive line on a pink dye test but was still negative on the GP surgery test. My GP said a line that shows up in the time period on any test is a line but that their own tests aren’t as sensitive. So they confirmed it via a blood test - so if you do go to GP and it’s negative you can request this. Takes a couple of days. This was however 17 years ago!

Thank you so much everyone 💕 DH couldn’t see it so I didn’t know whether I was just seeing what I wanted to see! I know you shouldn’t look after 5 mins, but it’s got darker since those photos and it’s definitely pink!!
It’s been almost 3 years of wishing for this so I’m really hoping for a positive outcome 🤞🏻 🌈 will keep this thread updated over the next few days!

So funny I think we are transfer twins. I got similar at 7dp5dt today and a positive on a digital but the faintness of this line (was middle of day with very dilute wee) is worrying!

Hi all, sorry forgot to update it’s been a rollercoaster week! It has got much darker and got 2-3 weeks on a CB digital on Friday!
However I’ve just done the test the clinic gave me which was like a dropper one, and the line on that is much fainter than my FRER and CB so now I’m panicking again. Pregnancy after infertility and loss is such a minefield 😫
Could it be normal that this test is fainter?

Slightly darkened up now, hopefully I’m worrying over nothing. Need to order another FRER for tomorrow I think!

Totally normal for the line density to differ between different brands of test - and even between different batches of the same brand. I drove myself crazy analysing and squinting at lines! Remind yourself that non-digital pregnancy tests are only designed to say ‘yes’ or ‘no’ - and it’s a YES! Congratulations!

That’s all you can do - live in the moment. I used to tell myself that I may as well allow myself to be happy and excited, because refusing to let myself believe it would be okay wouldn’t make me any less upset if it didn’t work out!

I thought you might like to see my tests - hopefully you can make out that the 7dp5dt one is fainter? I was DEVASTATED - convinced myself it was game over. It wasn’t - she’s six years old now! Hopefully helps to show you that varying lines don’t mean a thing
