I was just wondering if anyone else is entering the TWW and wanted to symptom spot together so I don't drive myself mad.

DTD CD9 and CD11 and I think I ovulated on D13 🤞🏻

Just got peak today so guess I’ll be in the tww in the next day or so 🤞🏽

how long are u trying @NibblesMaplestick & do u have any DC already?

this would be #2 for us 🤞🏽

NibblesMaplestick · 10/06/2026 22:56

@DmcinT Hey! Are you using ovulation strips? Do you find you have any other symptoms of ovulation?

This is our first cycle of trying, super clueless and hoping that the days we DTD were good ones.

We have two children already but both were happy accidents so it feels pretty different this time around to be properly trying.

OP posts:
DmcinT · 11/06/2026 09:40

Yeah I’m using the strips, just the wee cheap ones from Amazon. We are trying since Sept last year, got pregnant in April but unfortunately miscarried at 7 weeks. This is first cycle since, really hoping it works out straight away 🤞🏽 but I know that’s prob being very hopeful

I had a few tweaks and twinges overnight so I’d imagine if O didn’t happen yesterday or overnight that it’ll be today at latest. Do u generally feel ovulation?

NibblesMaplestick · 11/06/2026 10:24

I'm sorry to hear about your MC, I've got my fingers crossed for you for this time!

Normally around ovulation I get some twinges/light cramps, my cervical mucus changes and as an added treat I tend to get spots breakout on my chin.

So I guess now it's just a waiting game, I think we might have DTD too early this time realistically but I guess you never know do you.

Hi. I'm 5dpo or thereabouts.
Couldn't use opks accurately this month.
How many dpo are you now?

NibblesMaplestick · 11/06/2026 14:15

Hey @Fortheloveofbugs I think I'm about 2DPO but not 100% sure tbh as I haven't used testing kits yet.

How are you feeling 5 days out?

OP posts:
Fortheloveofbugs · 11/06/2026 15:59

Hi @NibblesMaplestick ok thanks. But no sign of symptoms yet.
I've been pregnant a lot over the last 4.5 years and I always say, I never know when I'm not pregnant, but I always do when I am. If you can make any sense of that. Seems silly but that means for now, I don't think it's worked this month.
How about you?

NibblesMaplestick · 11/06/2026 22:03

@Fortheloveofbugs I think that makes perfect sense, once you know you know don't you. 5DPO is still early though 🤞🏻

I feel pretty normal, if anything I am more full of beans than normal this week. I run and do some gym classes and felt like I was absolutely smashing them this week which probably means I'm not pregnant haha or I'd be feeling more tired.

OP posts:
Fortheloveofbugs · 12/06/2026 07:32

Oh I don't know. Anything that feels different could be a good sign I think.
I had terrible insomnia last night. Could be because we are on holiday though.
I had insomnia as a symptom when I was pregnant with twins last year. (Ended in another miscarriage at 9 weeks)

NibblesMaplestick · 12/06/2026 12:26

I'm trying to keep myself busy at work and home so I don't have time to overthink every little twinge 😅

I've been the opposite with sleep and the last 2 nights I've been out like a light and not moved a muscle until our toddler stumbles in the next morning 😴😆

Hello! Can I please jump in this.

we are ttc baby number 2. We already have a little boy who is 6yo.

all my ovulation tests have been negative though… so wondering if I’m even releasing an egg at all! We will see. I’ve ordered some digital tests rather than the strips for next month if I don’t get BFP.

these next two weeks are going to be a killer waiting to test!

NibblesMaplestick · 13/06/2026 22:59

Hey @IThinkImThirtySomething hopefully you are ovulating, I haven't used strips before but I've read people say they ovulate much earlier or later in their cycle. Have you carried on testing beyond the date on your app?

I've been out this evening and have the worst motion sickness from the taxi home 😖

Hi i got my spike on Wednesday AM happy to symptom spot with you. I had a chemical 3 weeks ago so not holding out much hope this month! Today and yesterday ive been up since 5 not been able to go back to sleep! Last time I was pregnant was 13 years ago and I dont remember all this worry then xx

NibblesMaplestick · 14/06/2026 08:51

Hey @lm1986 I'm sorry to hear about your chemical. I think you still have a chance this month, a friend of mine had a chemical and the next cycle conceived twins 🥰

@DmcinT @Fortheloveofbugs @IThinkImThirtySomething @lm1986 How early do you ladies normally test?

Not sure if I'm over thinking things but the motion sickness in the taxi last night was terrible, and whilst out I couldn't stomach alcohol (took me 2.5 hours to drink 1 drink). Probably psychological and a bad taxi driver haha

DmcinT · 14/06/2026 12:25

@NibblesMaplestick i try hold out until 12/13 dpo, I do monitor RHR thou as I usually have a drop back around baseline around 11 dpo once progesterone drops (when not pregnant). I think I’m so conscious that it’s all just progesterone until that point.

I’ve been put on progesterone now too between 3 - 11 dpo so symptoms are gona be even stronger, I have to just try ignore them all until 12 dpo 😂 that’s deff gona make it harder

@lm1986 so sorry to hear about ur chemical, hope u are doing ok ❤️ wouldn’t it just be so lovely to think of getting pregnant again straight away. I find it hard to think I was pregnant 2.5 weeks ago and here I am back ttc again 💔😞

IThinkImThirtySomething · 14/06/2026 12:45

@NibblesMaplestick this is my first proper cycle tracking. I never tracked with my first, was very lucky and felt like we caught straight away. But that was six years ago! I’m older and fatter now 😂 so decided to just track my cycle. I am like clockwork with my cycle (27 days) so we will see. I took a digital ovulation test yesterday and it was negative but the strips were quite strong 3 days ago although I never got a peak result.

I will try to hold out and start testing just before my period is due but I will likely crumble and test like a maniac as early as a week before my period lol. when I was pregnant with my son, I woke up one day and just felt different and just knew I was pregnant so I wonder if I’ll be that in tune again.

@lm1986 im sorry to hear about your chemical. I had a chemical pregnancy 3 years ago and even though it was a contraceptive failure, I still felt devastated that was the outcome. Hope you are doing ok and sending baby dust your way!

BognorRegenia · 14/06/2026 13:59

Hey ladies, I'd love to join! I'm currently 5dpo and I've taken Clomid this cycle as I have secondary infertility.

@NibblesMaplestickWhen I fell pregnant with DS, I remember smashing a gym class at 8dpo and thinking I couldn't possibly be pregnant. So it may be a good sign!

Fortheloveofbugs · 14/06/2026 14:05

Hey @NibblesMaplestick how many DPO are you now?

NibblesMaplestick · 14/06/2026 14:26

@DmcinT that's interesting insight on the RHR, mine dipped low around ovulation day and has been going up incrementally since. Does yours normally dip again before AF?

@IThinkImThirtySomething I am really trying to hold off, I purposely haven't bought any tests yet because if I had them in the house I know I'd be testing WAY too early.

@BognorRegenia welcome! Fingers crossed for you this month 🙏🏻

@Fortheloveofbugs I think I'm around 5-7DPO now, I think I've made my mind up to test on Thursday at the earliest which would make me 9-11DPO

OP posts:
Fortheloveofbugs · 14/06/2026 15:43

Good Idea to wait. The ambiguous almost lines are the worst.

DmcinT · 14/06/2026 16:35

@NibblesMaplestick Yeah so the pattern (if u ovulate) should be down around ur lowest RHR (baseline) the day of ovulation, then it should steady increase and stay 5-10 bpm higher for luteal phase, around day 11-13 it will drop back to baseline (unless pregnant in which case it will continue to rise/stay higher)

NibblesMaplestick · 14/06/2026 19:14

@DmcinT I thought I'd ovulated on Tuesday but looming at my RHR maybe it was Wednesday!

I'm still feeling a bit crampy today, the waiting is driving me mad and this is only cycle 1 😅

Hi ladies, would love to join😊I’m 4dpo today, wishing everyone luck!

wfcats · 14/06/2026 21:41

I would also love to join if that's okay! Cycle 3 ttc my second, but this is the first month I feel like we might have a chance as our timing was bad the last two months. Period is due 26th June so will probably do an early test on the 22nd and try not to go insane between now and then.

DmcinT · 14/06/2026 22:18

@NibblesMaplestick it’s not an exact science but yeah looking at that I’d assume ovulation was Thursday

I actually found the first few cycles tough as I questioned every wee thing and each day in TWW felt long. After a few cycles time does start to go back to normal and u don’t really symptom spot anymore (but hopefully ull be pregnant asap so won’t have to think on that ☺️)

im off on holiday this week so looking forward to the distraction 🥰
