8dpo, TWW after losses - success stories needed

Hey,

We were TTC last year and we ended up with 4 consecutive chemicals - it broke me. We decided to just not try again until my head was straight again (we had a whoops moment with a late AF but I didn't test, AF came)
This month though I text DH and said "if you wanna make a baby nows the time!" Because I had tried opk's for the first real time and had a positive on Monday 1st. He came home early 😏😂
Well, I'm now 8dpo and had 2 whole days of cramps, pretty consistent and mild. I have thought a few times AF is here because they are just like AF cramps and I'm (sorry tmi) wet down there all the time, like my CM is almost replacing what a period would be.
We have 1 DC already and this is exactly what happened with DC1 at 7/8dpo and I got a bfp at 9dpo.
I guess I'm just looking for support/advice/your experience with losses and then successful pregnancies.
If truth be told, I'm terrified we will get a bfp again which will just fade and AF will come.

Sending hugs and positive vibes. Understand why you feel the way you do but hopefully you can keep busy for the next few days. Could you hold out as long as possible before testing? Just to save any upset 💕 It all sounds promising but as you know early days.

I’m 6dpo so not far behind you and aiming to test around 10dpo 🤞🏼

Thanks @laesosalt, that's much easier said than done but I can try my best not to test, I'm just not sure when I should test though - with DC1 and 2 of those chemicals I had a bfp 9dpo. I seem to implant super early!
You're not far behind me, hopefully this is your month 🤞 Do you have any symptoms of anything yet?

Well if you feel mentally ok then go with your gut and test at 9dpo 🤞🏼 Hope it’s your month too.

No obvious symptoms at the moment! This would be baby 4 and I don’t tend to get symptoms before a positive so hopefully the same again 🙏🏼

My advice is to wait as long as you can. I know it will kill you, and I never took my own advice, but I also had 11 miscarriages (and more chemicals than that). I also now have three healthy nearly adult children (with miscarriages in between). I accessed fertility treatment because of my recurrent losses for my second pregnancy (habitual aborter was the delightful medical term they put on my notes). Sending a hand hold, and hope. Have you had blood tests to look at your hormones? If not, might be worth going to the GP to get them done (unless you are pregnant this time round, in which case, academic.) Good luck. x

@laesosalt I have worked really hard on my physical fitness which has done wonders for my mental health the last few months! It's kinda another reason I'll probably test, so I can adjust. Oh wow baby 4! I wish you the best of luck this month! You're lucky you don't get symptoms, I wish I didn't, because I already know before I know.

@JeMapellePing I'm sorry to hear about your losses. What an awful term that is, what a horrible thing to put when you're going through something so awful! 😞
I've not had tests, it's hard to get an appointment at my doctors for starters, but maybe if this isn't my month I'll call them. Thanks for the hand and hope, and congratulations in your 3 lovely children.
