Yes. It’s Cawr-muk where I am in Ireland, though my friends who speak Irish as their first language say Curr-muk.
It sounds odd to me said in an English accent as the r isn’t really pronounced properly. It’s said more like Caw-mack which sounds wrong to me.
I’d echo pp though in saying Irish names are pronounced as they’re spelt…in Irish.
That they’re confusing to people who don’t speak the language isn’t really surprising, but in fact Irish is much more a phonetic language than English is.
