What names have you noticed making a comeback? and do you think alan kevin and the like are about to be cool again?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

that's interesting nkf. notice there don't seem to be a lot of laura's or lucy's about (here, anyway) but that's all you'd get 15-20 years ago

2gorgeousboys · 24/02/2008 17:59

Friends of mine called their baby Brian . Couldn't say much as he is named after his Dad!
My DS2 has quite an old fashioned name - George and I was not keen at first when DH suggested it, but when he was born it seemed to suit him.

I heard of a friend of a friend who called her baby boy Terry recently .

I can't imagine a baby Terry - only a middle aged taxi driver for some reason.

I think Ada will make a return as it's similar but different to Eva and Ava - and they are both in vogue

IamTheSpeedingHam · 24/02/2008 22:16

i swear some of these baby threads are making me piss - prgnant woen should not be allowed to make thses choices - their senses obvously leave them

evie stevie and clementine ( lemmy!)

dear god help the poor children

PortAndLemon · 24/02/2008 22:41

We were strongly considering Ada for this DD (I think it's been downgraded to middle name status now, though). I suspected it would make a return as an Ava-substitute, as well.

OracleInaCoracle · 24/02/2008 22:44

ds is a Noah. when we told everyone they were appalled. said it was an old mans name, but it really suits him

love the name Tabitha

laundrylover · 24/02/2008 22:57

We have a glut of Noah's around at the mo Lissie - I think it's a lovely name.

I have a Matilda which is getting simalarly popular but I still love it.

laundrylover · 24/02/2008 22:58
