AIBU to switch energy supplier after they resolved my new-build meter issues?

To move energy supplies after the current one has spent time sorting out the builders not registering or setting up the smart functionality on my new build property.

It taken about three months, quite a bit on online support and an engineer visit to get my gas account up and running. My understanding is that the builders never commissioned the gas meter as it was likely fitted before the electric one causes lots of issues.

My plan was always to move supplies after my first bill. We were advised not to move before that to avoid complications with billing etc, however now I feel guilty that the supplier has spent all this time and energy getting me sorted for me just to move.

YABU - stick with them for 12 months as they have spent time and money getting you sorted

YANBU - don’t be ridiculous it’s a business, if they wanted you to stay they show offer the cheapest rates
