Does the heat make anyone else feel like they are living in a Salvador Dali painting?

Life just does not feel real.

Can’t get anything done. Household chores schedule is out the window and dictated by whether I can face getting sweaty or not.

Haven’t been to the gym for weeks because the aircon is broken.

Not eating our normal dinners because it’s too hot.

Living in a hot sweaty fug it feels like you are on holiday except there is no aircon anywhere and I have shit to do.

I’m with you but you will get trashed for this. Lots of people will be telling you that people cope just fine in Basra with its 48 degrees. They will ask if you’ve tried dunking your feet in cold water or getting up at 4am to do your chores?

I just can’t concentrate working from home. I have a perma-headache. I need a little sit down after hoovering. Sleeping? Forget it. I yearn for a cool crisp icy blast of weather. Instead, it’s like there’s an oven door at the top of africa and someone’s left it open to blast hot air into Britain.

Yes my face feels like its melting off itself

Even my laptop is on a go slow, the work laptop is impossible, nothing responding, everything buffering for ages, click on something nothing happens, network issues, wanting a restart, restart it over and over again, no change
