You’ve got to be in it to Bin it

It’s looking increasingly likely that the Clacton bi-election will be Farage vs Count Binface.

Count Binface has some very interesting policies, and has probably visited Clacton more than Farage. Also, as he (Count Binface) stated on BBC Breakfast today, if he wins this bi-election, the second one after the parliamentary investigation won’t need to happen which will save the taxpayer over £300k.

If you lived in Clacton, how would you vote?

YABU - Nigel Farage
YANBU - Count Binface

If you had to choose one.

Personally I would vote for Count Binface.
I’d love to have Ceefax back.

I would 100% vote for the Count.

More candidates are standing but I still think Binface can do it

Well I think it’s high time that those of us who identify as bins are properly represented in parliament.

Nigel must be shitting himself - he has forgotten that this ancient Albion, this cradle of democracy, belongs to the people who brought forth Boaty McBoatface.

The British love a good farce and watching Nigel Farage competing for Clacton against a bin is the summer entertainment we all need and frankly deserve.

Come on, lad - you’ve got to bin it to win it.

If you scroll down to related threads, you get a load of suggestions for other threads related to bins. Not sure if that is because the OP mentions Binface or Nigel Farage. I think it is the latter.

Maybe it's my determination that anyone would be preferable to Farage, but I actually think Binface could make a decent local MP, with no national agenda or personal political ambitions, and genuinely outside of the establishment. It's beyond me how people fall for the (nasty) public schoolboy, investment banker turned money grabbing politician, as man of the people.

If I lived in Clacton, he'd have my vote. Unfotunately, I think the demographic of Clacton is such that the Farage base there will become more convinced he's their man as a result of all this. I think a lot will depend on the turnout and whether the 54% who didn't vote Reform last time decide to engage with this circus. In their shoes, I absolutely would!
